With an average of 4 homes burgled in Newcastle Upon Tyne every day we are asking our student tenants to become extra vigilant.  Home office statistics estimate that 1 in 3 students are a victim of crime.  Students own more expensive consumer goods per head than the rest of the population.   70% of students own a computer or laptop and 86% have a mobile phone.

For tips to keep your property secure, please see our previous blog “How to keep your student accommodation safe and secure over Christmas”.

Should you find yourself a victim of a crime, please ensure that you put your own personal safety first.  Do not enter the property but call the Police on 999 or 101 for non emergencies.

Should you have any questions regarding security in your property, please contact our office on 0191 222 1225 or email enquries@roseworth.co.uk.
