Newcastle is a beautiful vibrant and cosmopolitan city - perfect for students!  To find out more about the city, please read our earlier blog “Moving to Newcastle from abroad to study. Let us introduce our beautiful city”.  What do you love most about Newcastle? Is it the nightlife? The shopping? The social scene? We thought we would ask some of our student tenants what they love most about Newcastle and here are some replies below:

  • “Love Newcastle because there are two large universities in one city meaning that there is a large student population”

Brogan Connolly – 16 Anolha House

  • “Love living in Newcastle because it is still close to home which is Seaham but far enough for my own independence and also love the £5.00 trebles…”

Francesca Smith – 18 Dulcie House

  • “Love Newcastle because of the nightlife, cheap standard of living compared to any other city in the UK. We also love the shopping facilities such as Eldon Square and Greggs”

Alex Darly, Daragh Brannigan, Jack Johnson and Pete McGlynn – 3 Easton House

  • “I chose Newcastle as the city I wanted to study in because the city is beautiful and has a brilliant variety culture and entertainment”

Russ Topley – 1 George House, Osborne Road
