Understanding Newcastle student accommodation

If you have renewed your Roseworth student lettings tenancy for the 2017 / 2018 academic year for your Newcastle student property then below is a helpful guide of what happens.

Firstly, you do not need to vacate the rental property as your new tenancy will start as soon as your current one ends.  Roseworth will then conduct an inspection of your property (you will receive an email detailing the date and time of this inspection).  Should there be any tenants moving out then we will be checking the inventory and schedule of condition document on any outgoing tenants’ bedrooms and will do a visual inspection of the remaining part of the property.  Should new tenants be moving into the property we ask that any items are in the correct designated place and that the property has been thoroughly cleaned.

For any outgoing tenants Roseworth student lettings will send the bond payment by cheque to your forwarding address that is on your Tenants Application Form that you completed at the start of the tenancy.  For any tenants that are staying on we will transfer your bond to the new academic year and you will receive a copy of the new Tenancy Deposit Scheme Certificate.

Roseworth’s contractors will also be attending the property on the day of the inspection to carry out PAT testing checks and to check the smoke detectors.

For any other questions please contact our office on 0191 222 1225 or email enquiries@roseworth.co.uk where one of our friendly members of staff will be happy to help! smiley
