How to secure a Student Property

  • Group of students celebrating

At Roseworth we understand that the paper work process can be a daunting and overwhelming process so we try and make this as quick, easy and as stress free as possible when signing the dotted line to your new Newcastle student accommodation!

Once you have viewed one of our Newcastle student properties and found ‘the one’ you can secure the property by putting down a holding deposit of £200 per person. Roseworth will then remove the property from any marketing sites and our own website. Please note that the £200 is not an agency fee (Roseworth do not charge any agency fees to our tenants!) but instead forms part of your Security Deposit Bond, which is the equivalent of one month’s rent.

Once Roseworth have collected the £200 holding deposit, you will then be required to complete an application form to register your details with us in order to draft all legal documentation. Roseworth then provide a copy of the exact tenancy agreement so you can review this in your own time and have the opportunity to come back to us with any questions. Following this a sign up appointment will be arranged whereby all tenants are invited to our office and a member of staff will go through all of the paper work of your new Newcastle student accommodation prior to signing, which includes:

  • Guarantor forms
  • Direct debit/payment forms
  • Signing the Assured Tenancy Agreement
